Vonderlieth Living Center is a 90-bed, skilled nursing facility situated in the rural farming community of Mount Pulaski.  Our highly skilled medical staff allows our residents to experience the comfort and security to function at their highest capacity with an emphasis on quality of life.

The staff and residents are proud of the history we have in this community. In 1838, Henry Vonderlieth came from Germany to settle in Mount Pulaski, just two years after the town was founded. His grandson, Henry, together with his wife, Jane, was the founder of the Vonderlieth Living Center. The home originally opened in October of 1973 with 60 beds.

Today, our Board of Directors continues to manage the Vonderlieth Trust. Their expert financial foresight and business experience continues to ensure that the facility not only meets but exceeds the demanding standards of the long-term care continuum.

In addition, a new foundation was established in 2009: The Henry & Jane Vonderlieth Foundation. It's purpose is to provide an opportunity for charitable donations from friends of the Vonderlieth Living Center and apartments. Their mission is to provide of source for future expansion of services to the elderly and supplement the Vonderlieth Trust in providing skilled nursing care for the elderly population of Mt. Pulaski.

Vonderlieth Living Center is a Medicare-certified facility and offers a wide range of skilled nursing services, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy, as well as hospice care. In addition to the nursing home, our campus also offers 25 independent living apartments for purchase that feature one and two bedroom floor plans.
